New Delhi: The BJP’s national convention in the capital passed a political resolution titled “Viksit Bharat-Modi ki guarantee” during its national council meeting.

The resolution, presented by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, emphasized the government’s development initiatives, cultural measures, and special focus on women, south India, farmers, and Sikhs. Singh highlighted the transformation of India since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in 2014.

He specifically noted the cultural significance of Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024, calling it a momentous occasion. The resolution praised Modi’s leadership, citing achievements in various sectors and the strengthening of India’s economy, now the fifth-largest globally.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman discussed the economic progress achieved under Modi’s ten-year tenure, asserting that India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, expressed gratitude for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the consecration of Ram Lalla, describing it as a historic moment awaited for centuries.

The BJP’s political proposal received approval after amendments were proposed, including aspects like Modi’s support for the Sikh sect, connectivity in rural India, and the upliftment of all castes.

Rajnath Singh’s proposal highlighted achievements such as the Ram temple‘s construction and the enshrinement of Ram Lalla, asserting that Modi’s ten years have brought the vision of ‘Ram Rajya’ to fruition.

The resolution credited Modi’s leadership for making India a capable and strong nation, achieving success in security, prosperity, and happiness. It acknowledged the emergence of a developed India by 2047 and highlighted the country’s unity, respect for traditions, and cultural heritage.

The political proposal celebrated ‘Modi’s Guarantee,’ attributing it to lifting 25 crore people out of poverty in the last ten years. It commended BJP’s electoral success, making the party influential from Kutch to Kamrup and Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

The resolution thanked Modi for his leadership and highlighted numerous historical events, including the revocation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram temple, abolition of triple talaq, GST implementation, Citizenship Amendment Act, and more.

The resolution underscored Modi’s global leadership, noting that when he speaks, the world listens. It highlighted achievements like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Namami Gange, and G20 participation. The resolution praised the public and government’s efforts in Covid management, earning global acclaim.

In essence, the BJP’s political resolution encapsulates a comprehensive overview of the transformative changes and achievements under Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing economic growth, cultural revival, and significant policy implementations during the ten-year period.
